How to instsall new device in Windows 7?

In the new Windows 7 operating system, whenever you have plugged in a new USB hardware, Windows 7 will not prompte you to install the new hardware device driver. Therefore without the new driver for your hardware, it will not operate in your computer. Here,  we will show you a general method to install the new hardware device driver to your Windows 7 computer.

1). Open up your System property and select the "Device Manager"

2). In the Device Manager, you will find something unknown as shown below.(in our example, we are trying to install a scanner to the Windows7 computer).

3). From the unknow device, select "Update Driver Software...." and place your device CDROM inside your computer CD drive.Choose the option as shown below.

4). Select the pathname where your driver location. This can be a folder or your CD drive path name.

5).Complete the steps and your device driver will then be installed to your computer.

6). Next, you need to install the application software from the CDROM to your computer. When these steps are done, your computer may require you to reboot.
